         TAYLOR WOODROW CONSTRUCTION COMPLETES SALE OF 
        WIND ENERGY BUSINESS TO NEG MICON A/S OF DENMARK

Taylor Woodrow Construction Ltd yesterday completed the sale of
its wind energy businesses to NEG Micon A/S of Denmark. 

The sale relates to the activities of two Taylor Woodrow
Construction Ltd businesses: 

Wind Energy Group Limited (WEG) P designer and manufacturer of
wind turbines. The business has 45 employees and is based in
London.  

Taywood Aerolaminates P a division of WEG and designer and
manufacturer of specialist wind turbine blades. The business has
65 employees and is based in Southampton. 

The sale has been completed following the signature of the
letter of intent between the two companies on the 24th February
1998.
