        TEPNEL LIFE SCIENCES PLC ("the Company")

Application has been made for a block listing of up to
193688 new Ordinary Shares of 1p each to be admitted to
the Official List pursuant to an option granted in 1992.
The new Ordinary Shares will rank pari passu with the
existing ordinary share capital of the Company.  Dealings
in the new Ordinary Shares are expected to commence on
Thursday 17 July 1997.
