The Company today received notification from Framlington Investment Management
Limited that they are interested in 12,675,000 ordinary shares of 1p each in the
Company ("Shares") representing approximately 13.22% of the Company's issued
shares.

These Shares are registered as follows:

HSBC Nominees Ltd a/c 811524                               1,475,000
HSBC Nominees Ltd a/c 896177                                 400,000

The previous notified holding announced on 20 August 2001was 11,555,029 shares,
representing 12.34% of the then, number of ordinary shares issued.
