Tepnel Life Sciences Plc ("the Company") announces acquisition of Medicines
Testing Laboratory from the Royal Pharmaceutical Society of Great Britain

Tepnel Life Sciences, a provider of nucleic acid purification solutions for
the BioMedical Research Market, is pleased to announce that it has acquired
Medicines Testing Laboratory (MTL) from the Royal Pharmaceutical Society of
Great Britain for #550,000, part cash (#275,000) part shares (#275,000).

Established over 20 years ago and employing 44 people, MTL is a provider of
analytical and biological testing services to the pharmaceutical industry.
This acquisition will enable Tepnel to expand its range of analytical services
and position it to penetrate the rapidly growing market for pharmaceutical
outsourcing services.   In addition, the acquisition supports Tepnel's
business strategy, by providing sales access to major international
pharmaceutical companies who are potential customers for Tepnel's DNA
purification kits and automated systems for DNA purification.

Ben Matzilevich, Chief Executive of Tepnel Life Science Plc, commented " We

Tepnel Life Sciences plc develops, markets and sells products for DNA
purification on a worldwide basis.  These products include automated
instrument systems, manual extraction kits and nucleic acid purification and
genotyping services.  These products target pharmaceutical and biotechnology
companies and biomedical research scientists studying genomics, yeast,
bacteria and eukaryotic cells.
