                    Tepnel Life Sciences plc (the "Company")



                        Board Change and Trading Update





The Company (AIM: TED), the UK-based international Molecular Diagnostics and
Research Products & Services group, announces that it has terminated the
contract of Gron Ffoulkes-Davies, Group Finance Director, with immediate effect.
  Michael Slater, who has recently joined the Company as Group Financial
Controller, will take day-to-day responsibility for the finance and accounting
function until the appointment of a new Finance Director.



The Company also can confirm that trading at both its divisions continues to be
in line with market expectations and the Board looks forward to a satisfactory
outcome for the year ended 31 December 2005.
