                    Tepnel Life Sciences plc (the "Company")

                               Additional Listing

Following the exercise of warrants, application has today been made for the
admission of 250,000 ordinary shares of 1p each in the Company ("New Ordinary
Shares") to trading on the AIM market ("AIM") of the London Stock Exchange
("Admission").

The New Ordinary Shares issued at 6.98 pence per share have been allotted as
fully paid up and rank pari passu in all respects with the existing issued
ordinary share capital of the Company.

It is expected that Admission will become effective and that dealings in the New
Ordinary Shares on AIM will commence on 23 August 2005.
