                Acquisition of Metal Fab
 
Senior Engineering Group plc is pleased to announce that,
having received the required regulatory approvals, it has
completed the proposed acquisition of the business, trade
and assets of Metal Fab Machine Corporation ("Metal Fab")
on  19  December  1997  on terms  consistent  with  those
previously announced on 24 November 1997.
