VISION AND SIEMENS SIGN MARKETING AGREEMENT
EDINBURGH, 9 November 1998 - VISION Group plc ("VISION") is
pleased to announce that it has signed an agreement with Siemens
AG ("Siemens") whereby VISION and Siemens will jointly market
VISION's CMOS image sensors on a world-wide basis. The agreement
is being formally launched at the Electronica Show in Munich from
10th to 13th November 1998.
This agreement will cover a wide range of markets including the
emerging desktop videoconferencing market, and the digital still
camera market where the companies are already engaged in
collaborative development. It is anticipated that further
collaboration on systems development for specific applications
could follow.

Vice President of Image and Video Division at Siemens
Semiconductors.
Peter Denyer, Chief Executive of VISION, commented, "We see this

recognised position at the forefront of CMOS imaging technology.
Although there will be minimal impact to this year's trading
volumes, we anticipate significant contribution in future years."
VISION was founded in 1990 and VISION Group was listed on the
London Stock Exchange in April 1995. Headquartered in Edinburgh,
Scotland, the company also has offices in California, New Jersey
and Hong Kong. VISION developed the first CMOS chips and took them
to successful volume production. VISION offers a comprehensive
range of CMOS imaging products from core silicon to complete cased
cameras with software drivers. VISION was granted The Queen's
Award for Technological Achievement in 1997 in recognition of the
successful and highly innovative camera products developed by the
company.
