                           Director/PDMR Shareholding 
 
 
The Company announces the following dealings by Directors in the Company's 
ordinary shares of 1p each. 
 
Following approval by the Remuneration Committee of the Company on 29 March 
2010, shares were released to the Directors listed below, pursuant to the rules 
of the SDL 2006 Long Term Incentive Plan: 
 
Mr Lancaster has elected to retain his LTIP award, increasing his beneficial 
holdings in the Company from 317,572 representing 0.41% of the Company's issued 
share capital to 385,018, 0.50%. 
Mr Gordon has sold 15,974 shares to fund the exercise costs and related income 
tax liabilities and retained 17,000 increasing his beneficial holdings in the 
Company from 55,000 representing 0.07% shares to 72,000, 0.09%. 
Mrs Lancaster has sold 32,974 shares.  Her beneficial holding remains unchanged 
at 1,220,537, 1.58%.
