On 3 February 1999 Network Technology PLC (the "Company") was informed by
Maltrace PLC that, following a distribution of its entire holding in the
Company on that date, it no longer has a notifiable interest.  These shares
were distributed in kind to shareholders of Maltrace PLC at a price of 26
pence per share.  Certain of the shareholders of Maltrace PLC are directors of
the Company.

This distribution included transfer of shares to directors of the Company as
follows:
