Kurt Salmon merger update and progress in MCG's healthcare practice

Management Consulting Group PLC ("MCG" or "the Group"), the international professional services group, today announces some recent developments in the healthcare consulting practice of Kurt Salmon.

Kurt Salmon has recruited a team of specialist healthcare consultants from AGEAL Conseil, a Lyon and Paris based provider of services to the French healthcare sector. A dedicated healthcare consulting team, led by Arnaud Rifaux, has joined the public sector practice of Kurt Salmon. This group will significantly enhance Kurt Salmon's healthcare consulting capabilities in France.

MCG expects that the previously announced merger of Kurt Salmon Associates and Ineum Consulting as Kurt Salmon which took effect on 1 January 2011 will create opportunities to expand the international healthcare consulting capabilities of the combined business. Kurt Salmon has recently secured a major project to advise the French Social Security administration on the development of disease management centres. This work was won as a result of combining the strategic expertise of the US-based healthcare consulting team of the former Kurt Salmon Associates, with the skills of the French public sector advisory practice of the former Ineum Consulting.
