         Lambert Howarth secures licence for shoes with Lulu Guinness


Lambert Howarth Group plc ("the Group"), a leading UK based supplier of
footwear, homeware and accessories, today announces that it has been awarded
the worldwide licence by Lulu Guinness to manufacture, market and sell a shoe
collection created exclusively by the designer herself.



In addition, Concept LH, the Group's new brands division will oversee all
production and sales of the new Lulu Guinness shoe range. The designer already
has two retail outlets in London and recently opened her first store in New
York. Her current stockists include Harvey Nichols, Harrods and Liberty.



It is anticipated that the first Lulu Guinness footwear line will be launched,
ready for Autumn 2002, in leading department stores and independent footwear
outlets across the UK. Existing US stockists, amongst which are Neiman Marcus
and Nordstrom's, will also carry the new shoe line.
