JARDINE LLOYD THOMPSON GROUP PLC COMPLETES ACQUISITION OF HAYWARD AVIATION

23(rd) December 2014, London: Jardine Lloyd Thompson Group plc ("JLT"), one of the world's leading providers of insurance, reinsurance and employee benefits related advice, brokerage and associated services, today announces the completion of its acquisition of Hayward Aviation Limited ("Hayward Aviation") from Towergate Insurance Ltd ("Towergate").

On 8(th) December 2014 JLT announced that it was acquiring Hayward Aviation and that the completion of this transaction was only subject to regulatory approvals and other formalities being completed. This requirement has now been fulfilled and the transaction has therefore been completed.

Hayward Aviation is a leading international specialist General Aviation insurance broker that arranges insurance for regional airlines, small commercial fleets of fixed wing aircraft and helicopters, individual jets, light aircraft and helicopters owned by private clients.

Aviation is a core specialty for JLT, which has established leading positions in the airline and space markets in the last few years. This acquisition accelerates JLT's strategy of leveraging this success into adjacent parts of the Aerospace market, by significantly enhancing the brand, scale and capability of our General Aviation activities.
