Additional Listing

Hercules announces that applications have been made to the UK Listing Authority
and the London Stock Exchange for admission to (i) the Official List and (ii) to
trading on the London Stock Exchange's markets for listed securities in respect
of 54,401 ordinary shares of 5p each ("New Ordinary Shares").

The New Ordinary Shares, which will rank pari passu in all respects with the
existing ordinary shares in issue, are being issued in partial settlement of an
adjustment to the consideration for the acquisition of Gross Fine (Holdings)
Limited which was announced on 8 March 2002. It is expected that Admission will
become effective and that dealings in the New Ordinary Shares will commence on 2
December 2002.
