APPOINTMENT OF DIRECTOR
LONDON - 26 October 2007
Central China Goldfields is pleased to announce that Mr. Paul Mc Groary has
been appointed as a Non-Executive Director of the Company.
Paul Mc Groary (age 50) is chairman of Eyeconomy Holdings plc which is
developing Marshall Lake, a near surface Copper Zinc VMS asset in Ontario,
Canada. He has held several other directorships within the natural resources
sector, including mining projects in Canada, Chile and in Oil and Gas
companies.
Paul Mc Groary and his wife jointly hold 3,610,500 ordinary shares in the
Company. By virtue of Paul being a director and 29% shareholder of Eyeconomy
Holdings plc, he is also interested in a further 3,210,000 ordinary shares.
Paul Mc Groary therefore has an interest over 6,820,500 ordinary shares
representing approximately 5.7 percent. of the issued share capital.
Speaking on the appointment of Paul Mc Groary, Jeff Malaihollo, Managing
Director of Central China Goldfields, commented:
