London, 22 February 2007 - Central China Goldfields plc (AIM: GGG), the mineral
exploration and development company operating in China, will be presenting the
investment potential of its two flagship projects to fund managers, equity
analysts and financial media at a City of London venue at 11.00am today.

Managing Director Jeff Malaihollo will present `Nimu' a potential jackpot
copper deposit and `Snow Mountain' a substantial gold deposit. He will also
discuss the Company's other two properties and articulate the growth strategy.

There will also be two other presentations. Nigel Clark, Chairman of the China
International Mining Group and Chairman of Central China Goldfields, will
discuss the `Internationalisation of the Chinese Mining Industry'. Dr. Kerry
Brown, Director, Strategic China Ltd., will talk on Foreign Direct Investment.
