                           DELTRON ELECTRONICS plc

             COMPLETION OF ACQUISITION OF THE SENSORTECH BUSINESS
                       FOR APPROXIMATELY #1.49 MILLION

Deltron Electronics plc ("Deltron"), the specialist pan-European distributor
of electromechanical components and solutions, announces the completion of its
acquisition of the sensors business and assets of Sensortech ('the sensortech
business').

Sensortech, based in Denmark, is a specialist distributor of sensor
components, which are not currently within the Group's product portfolio. The
acquisition of the Sensortech Business will add to the Group's product
offering, whilst further strengthening the Company's distribution platform
throughout Europe.

The acquisition was approved at an Extraordinary General Meeting of the
Company, held on 15th December 2000.
