                   Deltron Electronics plc ("the Company")

                            Director Shareholding


The Company was informed today that C.J. Sawyer and R.E. Tozer, both directors
of the Company, today exercised options to acquire 98,444 and 109,209 ordinary
shares of 5p each in the Company ("Ordinary Shares") respectively, at 49.6p
per Ordinary Share. Following these transactions, C.J. Sawyer and R.E. Tozer
have a beneficial interest in 1,989,704 and 1,435,369 Ordinary Shares
representing 8.89 per cent. and 6.42 per cent. of the total issued ordinary
share capital.

Admission has been made for these shares to be admitted to the Official List
and admission is expected to become effective on Monday 27 November 2000.
