                        Short Term Production Disruption

Caspian Holdings Plc (AIM: CSH), the oil and gas production and exploration
Company in Kazakhstan, announces that oil production from its Zhengeldy field
was disrupted for four days from 6 - 9 February due to start up failures on the
oilfields two power generators.

Production was reinstated utilising a leased generator and permanent power
supply will be shortly resumed. The estimated loss of total production during
the shut down and restart period was approximately 600 barrels.
