in accordance with revised UK accounting standards.

Charter Pan-European Trust plc announces that at close of business on 30
November 2006:

1)   the capital net asset value per ordinary share was 216.71p and
     
2)   based on the number of shares held in treasury, the net asset value per
     ordinary share was 215.99p.
