CODA plc (the "Company") announces that it was notified on 27 September 2006
that on that date, Mark Wells, Non-Executive Director, purchased 10,000 ordinary
shares of 25 pence each in the Company ("Ordinary Shares") at a price of 150
pence per Ordinary Share.

Following this purchase, Mr Wells now owns 10,000 Ordinary Shares, equivalent to
