52% RENTAL UPLIFT ON HAYMARKET

The board of CLS Holdings plc ("CLS") is pleased to announce that it has
agreed the outstanding rent review on the restaurant premises at its Coventry
House property in Haymarket, SW1.

The rent review, which was due on 25th December 1997, has been agreed by
negotiation between the parties at #655,000 per annum. An increase of #225,000
over the previous rent of #430,000 per annum.

The premises which comprise 457 square metres (4,917 square feet) is currently
let to Aberdeen Steak Houses Group Plc on a lease expiring in 2007.

Hargreaves Newberry Gyngell and Davis Coffer Lyons represented CLS and
Dalgleish & Co acted on behalf of the tenant.
