CLS HOLDINGS PLC ANNOUNCE REFURBISHMENT OF CITADEL HOUSE, EC4
CLS Holdings plc is pleased to announce that it has received planning consent
from the City of London for the conversion and extension of its property,
Citadel House, 5-11 Fetter Lane, London EC4.
This freehold property comprises approximately 4,190 m2 (45,101 sq. ft.) and
CLS agreed in 1997 to take a sub-lease from the existing tenant, NIG
Corporation plc (a subsidiary of Skandia Insurance Company Ltd). This has
enabled CLS to prepare plans for the refurbishment and extension of the
property. Obtaining planning consent was part of this process.
The planning consent allows CLS to extend the upper floors of the building by
approximately 164 m2 (1,760 sq. ft.) to provide high-class, open-plan,
air-conditioned offices and also permits the ground floor, basement and
sub-basement to be used for retail, restaurant or leisure uses.
Work on the property has already commenced and is due for completion in July
1998.
