and indirect subsidiaries, and Fidelity International Limited and its direct and
indirect subsidiaries are interested in 2,129,100 ordinary shares in Capital
Radio plc, representing 2.89% of the ordinary shares in issue.


We were informed on the 29 September 1997 that Prudential Corporation group of
companies are interested in 5,976,444 ordinary shares in Capital Radio plc,
representing 8.11% of the ordinary shares in issue.
