Major Supermarket Orders Genesis Edge Conversion Kits

Clean Air Power (AIM: CAP), the developer of Dual-Fuel(TM) combustion technology that enables heavy-duty diesel engines to operate on a combination of diesel and natural gas, is delighted to announce that it has won a new order from a major supermarket for 14 units of Clean Air Power's Genesis Edge Dual-Fuel(TM) system. The order is worth c.GBP0.4m.

The Genesis Edge product is Clean Air Power's retro-fit Dual-Fuel(TM) offering that can be installed on customers' existing vehicles. These 14 units will reduce CO(2) emissions and fuel costs in comparison with traditional diesel vehicles.

This order follows a three year successful trial of Clean Air Power's Genesis Edge Dual-Fuel(TM) system by the supermarket which has enabled 5 trucks to operate using bio-methane gas which has been produced from landfill waste.

The Company's Dual-Fuel(TM) technology is also offered integrated into manufacturers' vehicles on an OEM basis. Clean Air Power recently announced that a European OEM product with Clean Air Power's technology integrated within its engine was set to commence and confirms that production has now started.
