              Channel Health ("Channel Health" or the "Company")


                     Placing of Ordinary Shares for Cash

The Company announces that it has placed 1,811,165 ordinary shares of 10p each
in the Capital of the Company ("Ordinary Shares"), for cash, with both
existing and new institutional investors. The funds have been raised to
augment the Company's working capital resources.

Application has today been made for 1,811,165 Ordinary Shares to be admitted
to trading on AIM. Admission is expected to take place on 2 August 2001.
