Anglo & Overseas Trust PLC announces that at the close of business on 25 July
2005, the unaudited Net Asset Value per share calculated in accordance with the
AITC formula (excluding current financial year revenue items) was 259.89p.  The
unaudited Net Asset Value per share including debt marked at fair value, per the
Stock Exchange Announcements of 28 April 2005, was 237.63p.



The composition of the portfolio plus cash was as follows:



Fixed Interest:            28.66%

Equities:                     17.00%

Cash:                          54.34%
