Amiad, a producer and global supplier of automated water filters and filtration
systems for the industrial & municipal and the irrigation markets, announces
that Yosef Katz, Chief Executive Officer, is to step down from this position.

Mr Katz, who has been managing the Company since 1998, is stepping down for
personal reasons and will stay on as Chief Executive Officer until a replacement
is appointed and a smooth handover can take place. Yosef has agreed to remain on
the Board as a non-executive director of the Company, subject to adapting the
composition of the Board to comply with the relevant provisions of the Combined
Code and of the Israeli Companies Law.

Avi Heifetz, Chairman, said: "We would like to thank Yosef for his tremendous
contribution to the Company over the last 9 years. He has been an inspiration to
everyone at the Company and we wish him well for the future. He leaves the
Company strong and stable and, as we stated at the time of our full year results
in March, business is progressing well. We are commencing the search for a new
Chief Executive Officer who, together with the rest of the current management
team, will be able to take the Company to the next level."

The Company will provide a trading update at its AGM on Tuesday, 26 June 2007.
