Further to the announcement by Acorn Group plc, on 17 March 1998, concerning
the intention of its 38% associate ARM Holdings Plc to seek a listing on the
London Stock Exchange and a quotation for American Depositary Shares on the
NASDAQ National Market; the indicative initial filing price range has been
increased to between #4.00 and #4.50 per share.

A further announcement will be made in due course.
