This Interim Management Statement is provided in accordance with Rule 4.3 of the 
Disclosure and Transparency Rules and also includes relevant information in 
respect of the period from 1 March 2010 to the date of issue of this 
announcement. This statement has been prepared solely to provide additional 
information in order to meet the relevant requirements Disclosure and 
Transparency Rules, and should not be relied on by shareholders, or any other 
party, for any other purpose. 
 
Investment Objective: 
 
To invest in a wide variety of quality stocks both in the UK and abroad, seeking 
consistent growth in capital and income. 
 
Material Events: 
 
During the period the board have announced a final dividend of 6.2p, making the 
distribution for the financial year 10.1p; a 1% increase on last year. The 
shares will trade ex dividend on 9th June 2010, the Record date will be 11th 
June 2010 and will be paid to shareholders on 13th July 2010.
