UniCredit Expects Binding Offers For Pioneer By March - CEO

Italian bank UniCredit SpA (UCG.MI) expects to receive binding
offers for its asset management unit Pioneer by March, Chief
Executive Federico Ghizzoni said Wednesday.
"The tender still hasn't been set, but offers should arrive by
March," Ghizzoni told reporters in Milan.
People with knowledge of the situation told Dow Jones Newswires
in January three international companies had expressed interest in
Pioneer: French asset management company Amundi, owned by Credit
Agricole SA (ACA.FR) and Societe Generale SA (GLE.FR); French bank
Natixis (KN.FR); and U.K.-based Resolution Ltd. (RSL.LN).
