Conforce International, Inc. (“Conforce” or “Company”) (OTCBB: CFRI) today announced the appointment of Joseph E. Sumerak to the position of Chief Technology Officer (CTO). Mr. Sumerak, who holds a Masters of Science in Engineering degree, comes to Conforce with unparalleled professional accomplishment and expertise in pultrusion science and technology.

Mr. Sumerak has acted as a technical consultant to Conforce for the past two years during which time he designed several key components of the Company’s proprietary production equipment. As CTO, Mr. Sumerak will be responsible for aligning the Company’s technology vision with its business strategy. Mr. Sumerak will also be charged with the task of developing and implementing technology initiatives and overseeing all research and development activities.

Joseph Sumerak has over 36 years of experience in the pultrusion industry. In 1981, he co-founded Pultrusion Technology, Inc., a developer of pultrusion machinery, tooling and related technology installed worldwide. In 1992, Mr. Sumerak founded Pultrusion Dynamics, a company dedicated to the pursuit of advanced research topics in the areas of heat transfer and pultrusion process modeling directed at process optimization. Mr. Sumerak worked on significant technology initiatives with advanced composites for the US military and was instrumental in the commercialization of polyurethane pultrusion technology of glass and carbon fiber reinforced composites. He has published over 30 technical papers on a broad range of pultrusion related topics, written several pultrusion text chapters and has lectured on advanced pultrusion processing topics in seminars and conferences in international forums. Mr. Sumerak has been awarded eight US and international patents for novel pultrusion products and process methods. In addition, Mr. Sumerak is a member of ACMA and PIC, both organizations that serve the composites industry.
