Citizens Bancorp (the "Company") (Pink Sheets:CZNB), the holding company of Citizens Bank of Nevada County (the "Bank"), announced that its Board of Directors approved a change of the Bank's official name to "Citizens Bank of Northern California" in response to the geographic expansion of the Bank. "With our Auburn Branch slated to open this summer, the name change will provide us a common identity within the cities and counties we serve. While our name is changing our founding principles remain the same," said President and Chief Executive Officer, Judy Hess.
