Boeing To Meet Japanese Air Regulators

Dow Jones News
TOKYO--Japan's transport ministry said Tuesday that Boeing Co.
(BA) will meet the regulators at the ministry soon to explain the
potential corrective actions needed to bring the 787 Dreamliner
back in service.
It will be the first time for the aircraft maker to visit the
ministry's Civil Aviation Bureau and explain what interim fixes
could be implemented since two battery incidents prompted the
global grounding of the company flagship plane starting on Jan.
16.
The schedule for the visit hasn't been finalized yet, the
official added.
Earlier this month, Boeing was to meet the Federal Aviation
Administration to present a formal plan to get its grounded
Dreamliner back into service, according to people familiar with the
details.
