Canadian Shield Resources Ltd. (TSX VENTURE: EXP) ("Canadian Shield" or the "Company") announces the granting of 100,000 incentive stock options on March 16, 2010. Of the 100,000 stock options awarded, 50,000 were granted to a new Director of the Company. The remainder of the stock options were granted as performance incentives to new staff. The stock options have an exercise price of $1.00 per share and vest quarterly over an 18-month period expiring March 16, 2013. All options granted and any common shares issued upon the exercise of the options will be subject to a statutory four-month hold period expiring July 17, 2010. The granting of the options is subject to regulatory approval
