NFI.DB.U) New Flyer of America Inc., a subsidiary of New Flyer

announced today The Comet, formerly known as the Central Midlands
Regional Transit Authority ("CMRTA") located in Columbia, South Carolina has awarded New Flyer
a contract for up to 75 Xcelsior® heavy-duty transit
buses.
The five year contract includes a firm order for eight Xcelsior
clean diesel 35-foot buses with options to purchase an additional
67 35-foot Xcelsior buses powered by either clean diesel or
compressed natural gas.
