(TSX:NFI.DB.U) Motor Coach Industries, Inc. ("MCI"), a subsidiary
of New Flyer Industries Inc. (the "Company"), the largest transit
bus and motor coach manufacturer and parts distributor in
North America, announced today
that the 210 members of the International Association of Machinists
and Aerospace Workers collective bargaining unit (Local Lodge
W-384/District W3) at MCI's Pembina,
ND facility have ratified a new collective bargaining
agreement. This new 49-month contract is effective May 7, 2016 and will expire on June 11, 2020.
The unionized workforce at the Pembina facility represents approximately five
percent of the Company's total workforce in the United States and Canada.
