TSX:NFI.DB.U) New Flyer Industries Inc. ("New Flyer" or the
"Company"), the leading manufacturer of heavy-duty transit buses in
the United States and Canada, announced today that the Company and
the Communications Workers of America ("CWA") bargaining unit at
New Flyer's St. Cloud, Minnesota
facility have reached a tentative new four-year collective
bargaining agreement. This tentative agreement has been
reached prior to the expiry of the current collective bargaining
agreement, which expires at midnight on March 31, 2013. The members will hold a
ratification vote on the new agreement on April 6, 2013.
The St. Cloud
plant's unionized workforce represents approximately 19 percent of
New Flyer's total workforce in Canada and the
United States.
