TORONTO, Nov. 12, 2013 /CNW/ - Corby Spirit and Wine
Limited is pleased to announce the nomination of Maxime Kouchnir to the position of
Vice-President of Marketing, effective as of January 1, 2014.
A native of France, Maxime will
be based in the company's headquarters in Toronto and become a member of the Corby
Executive Committee, directly reporting to Patrick O'Driscoll, President and CEO. He is
replacing Jeff Agdern who has taken
on the role of Senior Vice-President, Wines and Champagnes for
Pernod Ricard USA on November 1, 2013.

Maxime has been with Pernod Ricard for seven years, and for 18
years in the Consumer Packaged Goods industry both in North America and in Europe. In his current position as
Vice-President Marketing - Vodkas for Pernod Ricard USA, he developed and implemented a clear
strategy to increase Pernod Ricard USA's position in the vodka category, where
they now have a full portfolio covering key consumer needs and
price points. "This nomination is once again the result of our very
close ties with Pernod Ricard S.A. which allows us to both import
and export Corby talents", added Paul
Holub, Vice-President of Human Resources.
Maxime joined the Group in 2006 as Marketing Projects Director
for Pernod Ricard Europe, and
subsequently was named Strategic Planning Director for Pernod
Ricard Holding in Paris. He previously held marketing roles in
both France and the U.S. with
Danone, Scottish & Newcastle as well as Johnson & Johnson.
Maxime is a graduate of Edhec Business School in France, and earned his MBA from Harvard Business School.
