(NYSE: SRX), a leading provider of technology and strategic consulting services and solutions to government organizations and commercial clients, today announced the appointment of Jeffrey “JR” Rydant to Senior Vice President of the National Security Sector (NSS), reporting to SRA CEO and President Stan Sloane.

Rydant will lead SRA’s national security-related work to design, develop, implement and operate mission-oriented systems, solutions, services, products and offerings for clients across the Departments of Defense and Homeland Security; national, state and local law enforcement organizations, and other federal agencies with security-related missions.

Rydant joined SRA in 1986 and has worked in a variety of roles spanning the NSS, Health and Civil Service, and Intelligence and Space organizations. He served as chief information officer and senior vice president of information management and technology and has led the SRA Marketing & Sales group since 2008.
