SRA Subsidiary introduces AirScene.com Symphony FAIRFAX, Va., Oct.
12 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Era Systems Corporation, a subsidiary
of SRA International, Inc. (NYSE:SRX), today announced the launch
of its new web-based airport surface management solution,
AirScene.com® Symphony(sm). Symphony adds to AirScene.com's already
extensive airport operations capabilities. AirScene.com Symphony
will help airports proactively manage airport operations, reduce
delays and improve performance during irregular operations (IROPS)
by providing historic, real-time and predictive situational
awareness of the airspace and the airport surface. This past,
present and future insight allows airports to improve operations
and maximize the effectiveness of existing resources, such as
runways, taxiways, gates and terminals to increase airport
efficiency and improve the passenger's overall airport experience.
Symphony users will benefit from real-time two- and
three-dimensional displays of all aircraft and vehicles on the
airport surface and in the terminal airspace, including integrated
status messages and alerts, statistical reporting and future
prediction of infrastructure demand. "AirScene.com Symphony will
enable true collaborative decision-making (CDM) by sharing critical
information with key stakeholders," said Era Vice President Bill
Colligan. "Symphony can also be integrated with other AirScene.com
modules to provide a total and complete airport operations
management solution." AirScene.com is a comprehensive, web-based
application suite for airport operations that utilizes a common
database to ensure the accuracy and consistency of all airport
system data. Modules include AirScene.com NOMS (noise and
operations management system) for environmental compliance,
AirScene.com RevenueVue for automated auditing, billing and
invoicing, AirScene.com ADIS (Airport Data Information System) for
general airport operations data and now AirScene.com Symphony for
surface management. Era Systems Corporation provides
next-generation air traffic management tools that address core
challenges like safety, efficiency, profitability and
functionality. Its innovative use of proven next-generation
technologies, like multilateration and ADS-B, help air navigation
service providers (ANSPs) and airport operators ease capacity
