Morgan Stanley Appoints Linda Hill and Emmanuel Roman to the Institute for Sustainable Investing Advisory Board

Morgan Stanley today announced the appointment of Linda Hill and
Emmanuel Roman to the Institute for Sustainable Investing Advisory
Board, effective immediately. The Institute for Sustainable
Investing's Advisory Board—comprised of prominent leaders from
business, academia and leading non-governmental
organizations—guides the Institute's work and strategic
priorities.
Linda Hill is the Wallace Brett Donham Professor of Business
Administration at the Harvard Business School and chair of the
Leadership Initiative. Emmanuel Roman is CEO and Managing Director
of PIMCO.

Linda Hill is the Wallace Brett Donham Professor of Business
Administration at the Harvard Business School and chair of the
Leadership Initiative. Hill is regarded as one of the top experts
on leadership—her research focuses on implementing global
strategies and leading innovation; building innovative
organizations and ecosystems; developing leaders for innovation;
and the role of the board in governing innovation. Hill is the
co-author of Collective Genius: The Art and Practice of Leading
Innovation, co-founder of Paradox Strategies, and co-creator of the
Innovation Quotient. She was named by Thinkers50 as one of the top
ten management thinkers in the world in 2013 and received the
Thinkers50 Innovation Award in 2015. Hill completed a post-doctoral

Emmanuel Roman is PIMCO's Chief Executive Officer and a Managing

management. Prior to joining PIMCO in 2016, Mr. Roman was CEO at
Man Group PLC, one of the world’s largest publicly traded
alternative asset managers and a leader in liquid, high-alpha
investment strategies. Earlier in his career, he was with Goldman
Sachs for 18 years, serving as co-head of worldwide global
securities and co-head of the European services division. He has
served as a trustee of the Hedge Fund Standards Board Ltd. as well
as a trustee of the Paris Review of Books, the Royal Marsden NHS
Foundation Trust, the Tate Foundation and the University of
Chicago. He has 31 years of investment experience and holds an MBA
in finance and econometrics from the University of Chicago.
