QuadraMed to Show New Consumer Web Portal at NAHAM Annual Conference

QuadraMed� Corporation (NASDAQ:QDHC) today announced that it will demonstrate its Consumer Web Portal (CWP) solution at the National Association of Healthcare Access Management 2009 Annual Conference (Booth # 313), May 27-30 at the Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino, Las Vegas, Nev. The debut of CWP marks a significant expansion of QuadraMed�s highly rated portfolio of patient access management solutions.

CWP allows patients to schedule, re-schedule and cancel appointments themselves according to rules set by their healthcare organizations. CWP also enables patients to download forms, review appointment information and edit personal data, further streamlining patient access and interaction with hospitals and healthcare systems. In addition to demonstrating CWP, QuadraMed will showcase several additional web-based access and identity management solutions including:

QuadraMed Enterprise Scheduling�, our enterprise-wide scheduling solution (multi-facility, multi-departmental, multi-procedural and conflict checking with rules-based scanning engine). QuadraMed Enterprise Scheduling can be augmented with Physician Web Scheduler, CallBack Reminder and Medical Necessity to better improve patient throughput and increase revenue.
Smart Identity Exchange� (Smart I/X), which uses advanced probabilistic matching algorithms to accurately link duplicate and overlapping person / patient records within and across healthcare organizations at the enterprise level.
SmartSearch for efficient patient lookups via any of three pro-active identity management tools: Precise ID (embedded in QuadraMed Affinity�), Patient ID (embedded in QuadraMed Enterprise Scheduling) and SmartID� (embedded in the HIS look-up system). SmartID, for example, �pops�up� during the scheduling or registration process to display to the registrar a list of patient names matching the search criteria. Likely selections are shown in green, yellow or red based on the degree of probability of being the best selection.
