announced today that its Software Product LabsSM business unit has
signed an extension of its development contract with NAVTEQ, the
leading global provider of maps, traffic and location-data-enabling
navigation, location-based services and mobile advertising around
the world. For the past three years, Ness Software Product Labs has
provided software product development services to NAVTEQ from labs
in India and Slovakia. The new three year deal extends and
expands the large global development center in Kosice, Slovakia.

The Ness Software Product Labs team members in Kosice have
worked closely with NAVTEQ teams to develop a wide variety of

development methodology in close collaboration with NAVTEQ teams in
Frankfurt, Germany and
Chicago to speed development
cycles and shorten time to market. In the coming three years, the
Ness team will continue working closely with NAVTEQ on important
initiatives to develop the next generation of NAVTEQ's mapping
products.
