MedCath Hires Senior Executive Human Resources Veteran Grant
Wicklund Named Chief Administrative Officer CHARLOTTE, N.C., April
30 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- MedCath Corporation , a national
provider of cardiovascular services, today announced that it has
hired industry veteran Grant Wicklund as Senior Vice President and
Chief Administrative Officer. Wicklund, 51, comes to MedCath from
Tenet Healthcare, where he had been responsible for recruitment,
retention, human resources information systems, and leadership
development. Wicklund also served as president of a Tenet
internet-based subsidiary. "MedCath is an exciting company with a

energetic." Wicklund will be responsible for human resources,
managed care, materials management/purchasing, administration and
MedCath's Cardiology Consulting & Management division, which

Wicklund worked for six years at Tenet predecessor American Medical
International, serving as vice president and chief human resources
officer. In between, he worked for 10 years in the retained
executive search industry, primarily as a Senior Partner with
Heidrick and Struggles. He started his career with PepsiCo and also
worked in the consulting division of Ernst & Young. About
