The Jack in the Box Foundation Donates $325,000 to Big Brothers Big Sisters

The Jack in the Box Foundation today announced a $325,000
donation to Big Brothers Big Sisters, which will allocate a large
portion of the funds to provide mentors to children from military
families, including children of the deployed, children of the
fallen and children of the wounded and disabled.

Monies for the donation were raised during the 25th annual Jack
in the Box® Charity Golf Tournament, which was held April 9-10 in
Indian Wells, California. Nearly 400 Jack in the Box® restaurant
franchisees, employees and vendors attended the event at the
Renaissance Indian Wells Resort & Spa. Joining the Jack in the
Box Foundation as co-title sponsor for this year’s event was the
Jack in the Box National Franchise Association, which represents
more than 100 franchise owners with more than 1,700 Jack in the Box
restaurants.
To date in 2015, the Jack in the Box Foundation has donated more
than a half million dollars to Big Brothers Big Sisters, including
a $220,000 donation in January comprising proceeds from the sale of
a limited-edition ornament during the holidays.
