Brown Named Firstbank - St. Johns President ALMA, Mich., Jan. 4 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Tom Sullivan, President and Chief Executive Officer of Firstbank Corporation (NASDAQ:FBMI), announced that the board has named David M. Brown as President and Chief Executive Officer of Firstbank - St. Johns. Brown will succeed James M. Taylor who announced his retirement after serving as Firstbank - St. Johns' CEO for five years. Brown has over 24 years in the banking industry, working for both regional and community banks. Positions held during his career include Community Bank President, Commercial Loan Regional Manager, Vice President of Commercial Banking and Branch Manager.
