DivX Grants Mobile Certification to New MtekVision Media Processor

a licensing deal with Mtekvision Co., a leader in advanced mobile
semiconductor technology, to grant DivX� Mobile Certification to a
new media processor chipset used in a variety of mobile platforms.
The MtekVision MV8722, part of the Maple family of media
processors, will enable mobile devices which incorporate the new
chipset to seamlessly playback high-quality DivX� video at
resolutions up to 720x400. These mobile devices will join over 100
million other DivX Certified� devices shipped by DivX�s licensees
into the market, including DVD players, digital cameras, video game
consoles, digital televisions, and mobile phones. DivX
Certification enables a premium visual experience and
interoperability among an expanding ecosystem of devices and
