DivX Sponsors First Annual Pixelodeon Video Festival

DivX, Inc. (NASDAQ:DIVX) today announced its sponsorship of
Pixelodeon 2007, an annual independent video festival recognizing
innovation, inspiration and community in global online video. The
festival will be held June 9-10 at the American Film Institute in
Los Angeles. DivX CEO Jordan Greenhall will deliver a brief speech
at the opening of the show, as part of programming that features
over 300 video screenings, four keynote speakers, two dozen
curators and endless networking opportunities for entertainment
aficionados both old and new. Pixelodeon 2007 brings together both
old and new media to discuss the transformation of the
entertainment landscape in a way that appeals to anyone who is
passionate about film. Topics discussed at the event will include
digital rights management, copyright and file sharing, as well as
innovative ways consumers can access digital content. The video
festival will introduce independent content creators who use the
Internet to build communities and engage audiences, and highlight

by eliminating barriers between filmmakers and end users. In
addition to financial sponsorship, DivX will also host Pixelodeon
