Departure of Directors or Certain Officers; Election of Directors; Appointment of Certain Officers; Compensatory Arrangements of Certain Officers.

On July 21, 2020, The Carlyle Group Inc. (the “Company”) announced that Glenn A. Youngkin will retire as Co-Chief Executive Officer of the Company, effective September 30, 2020, and will also step down from the board of directors of the Company at that time. Kewsong Lee has been appointed as sole Chief Executive Officer following Mr. Youngkin’s retirement.
